Workshop Registration Information

• All attendees must register for a workshop.
• Seating is limited for the workshops. Registrations will close at some locations sooner than others because all of the seats have been filled. The MIS Data Clerk, Special Ed Administrators, IEP Coordinators or School Psychologists attending as the SPP Rubric Administrator are awarded preferential seating on a First Come-First Serve basis.
• The Data Clerk from each LEA must attend a Fall 2008 Workshop in order to be awarded the Clerk Training Participation points on the Kansas District Scoring Rubric SPP Indicator 20- Timely and Accurate Data.  Backup Data Clerks are not required to attend in order to be awarded the points.  Backup Data Clerks are welcome to attend.  The Data Clerk will be allowed to register if the Special Education Administrator, IEP Coordinator and School Psychologist does not register for a Fall 2008 workshop.
• In order to be awarded the Administrator Training Participation points on the Kansas District Scoring Rubric SPP Indicator 20- Timely and Accurate Data, a Special Education Administrator, IEP Coordinator or School Psychologist must either attend the Leadership Preconference MIS Session for Administrators to be held on July 23 or one of these Fall 2008 Workshop.
• It is recommended that all the attendees be sent in the same email workshop registration request. Every attempt will be made to honor your workshop request.  There is no guarantee seats will be available for all the attendees listed in the workshop registration request. 
• If an additional person needs to attend the workshop after the initial workshop registration, please email a workshop registration request.  The project will attempt to honor requests to add an additional person from an LEA, subject to availability.

Workshop Description

The KSDE Special Education Services Team Data Manager will present information regarding the Data Dictionary Field Definitions, Verifications and Data Submission Schedule.

The Keystone Learning Services will provide self-guided lessons designed by KSDE SES and the Project. The lessons will focus on data accuracy and reporting in LEAMIS.
